L’Albereta invites its guests on a sensory journey through different culinary experiences, united by a common philosophy that celebrates the quality of raw materials, respect for nature’s own timings and a commitment to ethical cultivation and breeding. Leading the culinary arts is the chef Alberto Quadrio. Born in 1990 in Gattinara (Vercelli), he brings a wealth of international experience gained in Tokyo, Barcelona, Copenhagen, Mexico and Paris.
Alberto has had the privilege of working with great masters such as Yoshihiro Narisawa, Alain Ducasse, Rasmus Kofoed, Oriol Castro, and the celebrated chef Gualtiero Marchesi. Marchesi was the first to establish L’Albereta as a true ‘temple of taste’ as he ran the kitchens himself for twenty years (1993 - 2013).
Today, thanks to the vision of Alberto Quadrio and the support of Enrico Bartolini as mentor, L’Albereta continues the tradition of excellent dining, offering dishes that tell a story of dedication to nature and appreciation for the work of man. Each creation is the result of a thought process that celebrates the time and place from which the ingredients draw their origin: from the fresh produce of the land to the commitment of producer friends, true ‘travelling companions’ carefully chosen by the chef and his team. Guests need do nothing more than let themselves be guided, choosing their own personal ‘here and now’, to rediscover an authentic and sincere dining experience, immersed in the beauty of the rooms of the historic residence or on the terraces surrounded by the lush greenery of the Bellavista hill, between Lake Iseo and the morainic amphitheater, in the heart of Franciacorta.
